people still use any WinOS is:
1. To game
2. They don't know any better.
Once Linux supports more games I'll have little reason to use Win as my main OS anymore. I've been booting to Ubuntu more often than XP since the Gutsy 7.10 distro.
Does everyone born after 1980 have ADD???
Next time try maybe renting or researching it before dropping coin on it goof. All that allowance saved for naught.... tisk.
better when it was released as Pitfall in the 80s ;)
And yes, you are the only one that thinks ME was overRATED. OverHYPED, perhaps, but the ratings it received were all spot-on the money imo.
Don't early adopt when these OLEDs fully hit retail though, or you'll be kicking yourself in the wallet. Once production ramps up the price will drop thru the floor on these things. VERY cheap to make.
For now I'll stick with my projector.
Fuk this guy. I've been loving every second of this game, and am glad that all the "terrible problems" with framerate and texture pop-in have been WAY overblown imo. Even the dreaded "elevator loads" at least usually offer up important character dialogue or news reports. (If you don't like the elevaor rides just use the Citadel Mass transit, duh).
As for the combat, once you figure out this is NOT GEARS or HALO you're fine. So far the story is great and very...
If you talk smack about Sony, you're automatically an xbot?
You're a fuking moron douche... as you prove with every post.
No Elveon eh?
oh MK caught it......
60GB if you can still find one. Best of the bunch imo.
edit: Of course that's if you live in N. America... Those had actual emotion engine chips in them for backward compatability instead of software emulation.
I loved XL on PSOne... The 60fps is really gonna give you the feeling of speed on this one. The 1080p native doesn't hurt either.
As for the fanboy sh1t, you diks have polluted this site beyond recognition. If you faagz would spend half the energy on posting about the fuking articles instead of jerking each other off maybe we'd all learn something for a change.
I read the article, wonder if he was refering to SACRED 2 – Fallen Angel. Wasn't quite sure LOL!
(@28.1)
Maybe I'd be insulted, If I owned a PS3 LOL!!!
I've been a 360 owner since launch. And I just got back my 1st rrod replacement for Christmas (yay?)....
I just don't see them pulling off these huge outdoor environments without the issues I mentioned. Both the PS3 and the 360 just don't have enough memory to render huge detailed scenes to impressive distance and keep things (like AI and physics) from being dumbed down to compensate.
I ...
... the hype train.
Said it before, I'll say it again....
Pop-in, texture loading, and crap NPC draw distance. Count on it.
It'll look fantastic, but play like garbage.
I hope this franchise comes to the PS3... Once my extended 3 year warranty runs out and my final 360 bricks I'm buying a PS3 instead anyway. Then I'll finish the trilogy on that hardware.
This isn't news, and it certainly isn't new...
If this article would ACTUALLY BE Troy and Dean’s Jack Tretton Q&A instead of Mike Antonucci's blog entry about it, I might give a sh1t.
Here's the ACTUAL INTERVIEW link for those of you who want to read it.

Might breathe some life into the shooter genre. Could have some cool weapons. Hit someone with the rapid decompression gun and watch them bleed from their eyes, neat stuff like that. Concussion weapons would be pretty damaging too. One to watch.
The red trail from his arm LED is distracting...
it goes like this:
Pop-in, pop-in left...
texture-load, texture-load right...
and the big finish is variable frame rate with crap NPC draw distance.
I've lost all hope. Games are dead. Profit first, polish later.
A firmware update would allow the HD-DVD drive to read games just fine. The problem is that they boxed themselves into a corner mandating all 360 games be on DVD-9. Thanks again Microsoft!...
They NEVER should have launched a hdd-less CORE, and all skus should have standard internal HD-DVD.

Oh my 1st RRoD exchange is being delivered today. I guess I best get to know the driver! I'm sure I'll be seeing him again :(
Wonder if they included a fron...
"....the RROD issue, which already has been fixed thanks to hardware revisions".
This has yet to be proven imo. I'd love for that to be the case, but until they shrink the XenoS I'm not expecting the rediculous amount of "general hardware failures" to be resolved. The XenoN shrink and heatsink revision was a step in the right direction, but they need to get the GPU revision DONE and increase airflow thru the case. I'm a 360 owner and fan, but if they don't g...
You're right, the hardware is sh1t. But the game library blows the PS3 off the map.
Once the 65nm Jasper GPU replaces the Xenos in August, the RRoD should finally go bye-bye. If the 360 didn't have hardware issues it would have decimated PS3 sales worse than it already has this round.
Hope my refurb holds out so I can trade it in at the end of the year.
